The Concept
Extreme Protocol Solutions leverages HBA (Host Bus Adapter) technology to provide our customers with high speed, multi-protocol, cross-platform test solutions. Since HBA's are sold in both the retail and commercial space in such large volumes the quality of both the hardware and drivers tends to be much higher than a custom hardware solution with only hundreds of units in the field.

Multi-Protocol
Because our solutions use standard HBA's as traffic generators we are able to support SCSI, iSCSI, SAS, Fibre Channel, ATA and SATA.

Cross-Platform
Since most HBA Manufacturer's support Windows, Linux Solaris and other operating systems, we can leverage their driver technology along with our own proprietary technology to bring you the same product on each operating system. This means that no matter which operating system you are using, the user interface is the same, the functionality is the same and test scripts can be written on one OS and run on another.

Field Service
Field Service is the vital link between you and your customers. They interface with customers on a regular basis providing answers to questions and solutions to problems. In the event that engineering determines that there is an issue with product in the field, it is their job to execute any corrective action provided by engineering as quickly and transparently as possible. Extreme Protocol Solutions provides both off the shelf and custom field tools to several of the data storage giants helping to minimize NTF (No Trouble Found) returns saving both time and money. Our tools can allow for rapid deployment of engineering solutions to keep your customers up and running with minimal time and effort.
