Failure Analysis
The investigation of failed components or solutions can be very involved, and may require several angles of approach to determine the root cause of failure. Root cause of failure must be able to be made with a high degree of confidence to ensure that the customer is satisfied and that proper steps can be taken to prevent further failures of this type or to implement a process to predict these failures before they occur in the field. Failure analysis testing is unique in that it must simulate as closely as possible the failure conditions in the field. These conditions include variables such as temperature and device activity at the time of failure. With this in mind, Extreme Protocol Solutions products have been designed with the flexibility to enable you to script field conditions as closely as possible using the resources at your disposal. Our scripting language can simulate the I/O activity at the time of failure and even regulate programmable power supplies and thermal chambers to enable you to consistently reproduce and diagnose failures.
